Meraki is dedicated to meeting guests where they are at. We believe no age, ability, or fitness level should stop someone from enjoying all the natural world has to offer. We love caring for our guests, making them feel supported, and helping them in any way we can on a tour. We lead tours that are highly customizable so we can curate an experience that will bring growth and big smiles to your entire group, in the safest manner possible. Whether it’s your 1st or 51st time, we will meet you where you are at and help you to have a great time and maybe even go home with a new found joy.

Safety First

Our tours vary in intensity and levels of risk. No matter the tour, we are dedicated to running them in the safest manner possible. Our guides have been working in the industry for many years and know how to run tours in safe and effective ways. Meraki has a comprehensive risk management plan for each activity to mitigate and manage inherent risks in their adventure tours. Your safety is Meraki’s number one priority.

Good Food

The essential fuel of a good adventure! We pride ourselves on having good (mostly organic) food and good snacks on our trips. Any tour that is over 3 hours in length will have a mostly organic with local ingredients, gourmet sandwich from our Durango Natural Foods Co-op. We care about the quality of nutrition that goes into our bodies, and we share that same standard for our guests.

Certified & Well Practiced

All Meraki guides have an active Wilderness First Responder medical certification. This 80-hour wilderness medical course covers a wide variety of situations and issues that could happen in the outdoors and how to manage them professionally. Our rock climbing guides are also certified by the Professional Climbing Guides Institute. All Meraki guides carry a comprehensive first aid kit, as well as a Garmin in Reach satellite communication device for when cell service is spotty.

Smaller Groups

Meraki’s 6:1 Guest to Guide ratio allows us to provide proper care and attention to each guest and support them in pushing their unique limits. For those looking for an exceptionally chill experience it also allows us to lavish in good stories and top food recommendations.
